Afro-Soul powerhouse, Brenda Mtambo, takes to the stage this December to celebrate a decade in the music industry. Known for her storytelling through music and powerful anthems, Mtambo is set to make waves on stage. “I am really excited about the upcoming show, it has been a really exciting journey and hope that my fans will enjoy this musical tour across the country,” says Mtambo.

The Decade Experience, presented by Busa Music in partnership with Joburg Theatre and supported by ConcertSA, takes a retroactive look at the esteemed career that Mtambo has established over the past 10 years. The event not only celebrates her achievements in the music industry so far, but also marks what is yet to come.

Mtambo’s passion for music started at a young age, but her breakthrough occurred when she joined the multi-award-winning gospel group, Joyous Celebration. Since then, she has collaborated with South African heavyweights such as Lira, Judith Sephuma and Brian Thusi; and brushed shoulders with the likes of Lindelani Mkhize.

Furthermore, Mtambo has been nominated for MMA and SAMA awards over the years, and her music has played on rotation across national radio stations such as Metro FM, Kaya FM and Ukhozi FM. To add to her long list of accomplishments, Mtambo has toured across the nation and the continent.

Overall, it is clear that Brenda Mtambo is a force to be reckoned with in the Jazz, Soul and African music scene.
