Multi-talented Aya Mpama made her comeback to the music industry with her latest five-song EP titled ‘Ayanda Amandla Ami’. The EP promises nothing less than Aya’s signature soulful sounds. With just over ten years since her last single release, this EP is true to who Aya is as a woman in the entertainment industry.

Aya collaborated with renowned producer Kabomo Vilakazi to create this EP, which she describes as the first of three EPs that will culminate in an album, implying that there will be more new music from her in the future. “It is a great of great honour to share my music once again with those who love it. Gratitude
goes out to SAMPRA for funding this project, allowing me the opportunity to reignite the
love between me and music lovers around the world.” Said Aya.

On the EP is a song titled Lutho, which Aya believes tells a story of her strength and
resilience as a woman. This is a continuity of the kind of music she writes, which speaks of
women’s power and self-love. “I look forward to performing this song, sharing my calling and
purpose, that is music,” she added!
