MOE., a rising newcomer, won the Metro FM Award for Best New Age R&B Artist for her tune “me ever after,” permanently marking her place in South Africa’s music awards history. Although MOE. received her award in absentia due to performances, travel, and exams at the Manhattan School of Music in New York, where she is pursuing a Masters of Music, she did not miss the momentous occasion of receiving her first music award accolade, as Gypsy Rose Bistro in New York hosted a private viewing party to watch the awards while serving a three-course meal.

“I feel a lot of emotions right now. But most of all is gratitude. I released my first song as MOE. less than a year ago and we’re already here.
