Get ready for a night of excitement and celebration as BET announces the highly anticipated return of the “BET Awards” 2023. Broadcasting live from Los Angeles on Monday, June 26, the show promises to be a spectacular event exclusively on BET (DStv channel 129) at 2am CAT. Aptly referred to as Culture’s Biggest Night, the “BET Awards” will commemorate five decades of Hip Hop throughout the electrifying telecast.
For two consecutive years, 2022 and 2021, the “BET Awards” has claimed the title of the #1 cable award show among all adults aged 18-49. Additionally, it holds the remarkable distinction of being the #1 cable award show among Black adults aged 18-49 for an impressive 21 years in a row (CY02-CY22). To accommodate fans, the show will repeat on Monday, June 26 at 8pm CAT on BET (DStv channel 129).
Connie Orlando, EVP Specials, Music Programming & Music Strategy at BET, expressed their excitement about the upcoming event, stating, “We are thrilled to be back in LA for BET Awards 2023 and to celebrate a huge cultural milestone – the 50th Anniversary of Hip Hop.
