The heart of Accra, Ghana is set to pulse with rhythm and vibrancy as the Culture Management Group (CMG) proudly announces the electrifying lineup of headliners for AfroFuture Festival 2023. Get ready to groove to the beats of afrobeats superstars Davido, J Hus, and Black Sherif, alongside a stellar roster of local and international musical acts. This two-day extravaganza, sponsored by industry giants like TuneCore, YouTube, Black Ambition, Topicals, Martell, and Jameson, is returning to the iconic El Wak Sports Stadium on December 28th and 29th, promising an unforgettable experience.
AfroFuture has long been a torchbearer for celebrating Africa’s rich culture and the boundless creativity of its artists, entrepreneurs, and visionaries. In 2023, the festival is taking a profound step towards unity with the theme “Black Unification & Pan Africanism.” This theme pays homage to the accomplishments of Black pioneers across the diaspora and underscores their influence on art, culture, and innovation. It will delve into the global connections and shared experiences of African people, emphasizing the significance of diaspora unity.
The festival grounds will transform into a vibrant tapestry of art, music, fashion, culture, and cuisine, each area curated to offer guests an engaging and immersive experience.
Abdul Karim Abdullah, AfroFuture’s CEO and Co-Founder, expressed the festival’s mission, stating, “AfroFuture has always been more than just a festival; it’s a full-circle celebration of everything African – our culture, our people, our talents. This Detty December, we’re back bigger, better, and stronger, ready to blend the worlds of food, art, fashion, and music.”
Kenny Agyapong Jr., COO & Co-Founder of Afrochella, added, “As one of Ghana’s most recognized cultural moments, AfroFuture will continue to foster engagement, increase interest, and boost tourism within the country, with a goal to make Ghana a premier destination for all travelers worldwide.”
To make the festival accessible to international visitors, AfroFuture has partnered with Streamline Travel and TravelMo to offer the best deals on flights and accommodations when planning a trip to Ghana.
Back by popular demand, the Vendor Village will offer an exclusive food experience, with 35 vendors featuring a diverse range of cuisines and unique merchandise.
