The station’s strategic moves over the past year have not only resulted in a surge in listenership but have also bolstered its brand perception significantly. Reflecting on the journey thus far, YFM’s Managing Director, Haseena Cassim, expressed enthusiasm, stating, “Last year, we boldly revamped our lineup, and the results were remarkable. The 2024/2025 roster builds upon our winning formula, introducing fresh voices to our platforms.”

The weekday mornings kick off with the familiar trio of Nia Brown, Mthaux, and Okay Wasabi, hosting “The Way Up” from 05:00 to 09:00. Xtremme continues to captivate and empower audiences with “Morning Break” from 09:00 to 12:00. The dynamic duo of Lula Odiba and Caddy maintains their stronghold with “The Lunch League” from 12:00 to 15:00. Afternoons are helmed by Ayanda MVP on “Home Run” from 15:00 to 18:00. Supta keeps the airwaves unlocked Monday to Thursday from 19:00 to 22:00, adding new dimensions to the 8 pm talk hour.

Weekend mornings welcome back the seasoned Tulz Madala, hosting “Kickstart Café” on Saturdays and “Sunday Feels” on Sundays from 06:00 to 10:00. Additionally, Madala hosts weekday pre-breakfast from 03:00 to 05:00, adding his vibrant touch to “Breaking Dawn” Monday to Wednesday. Joining the weekend lineup is Shamiso Mosaka with “The Rizz” on Saturday afternoons from 17:00 to 18:00, promising a fusion of global music that transcends borders.

YFM extends its warm embrace to Cesare “Hype” Morey, who will helm “Hype Factory” on Friday evenings from 21:00 to 00:00, showcasing the best of the global dance music scene. Sizwe Mngomezulu, runner-up of #BeTheNext Season 2, graces the airwaves with “The Wave” on Saturday and Sunday from 00:00 to 02:00. Majorsteez On The Streets, the culture show, expands to two hours on Thursday nights from 22:00 to 00:00.

While bidding farewell to OG Samke, a longstanding member of the YFM family, the station acknowledges his invaluable contribution and wishes him success in his future endeavors. Staying true to its commitment, YFM continues to nurture new talent through the Playground slot, offering broadcast opportunities to aspiring on-air personalities.
