GRAMMY® Award-winning artist Eric Bellinger has officially released his much-anticipated new album, It’ll All Make Sense Later. The album, out now via All Wins Ent/FTS Global Management, was crafted in the heart of Cape Town, South Africa, blending the soulful smoothness of R&B with the infectious rhythms of Afrobeats and Amapiano. This bold fusion marks an exciting evolution in Eric’s sound, as he bridges genres and continents, bringing together influences from Africa and beyond.

A Global Collaboration

It’ll All Make Sense Later features an impressive roster of African talent, including Ghanaian R&B/Afro-Fusion singer Gyakie, Nigerian superstars Burna Boy, Reekado Banks, Oxlade, Tempoe, and Taves. This star-studded collaboration highlights Eric’s growing international presence, bringing the richness of African music to his already dynamic sound. Reflecting on the creative process behind the album, Eric shares, “I traveled to South Africa to create this album, and it was one of my greatest experiences in making music. This album is a form of liberation for me. I see it as a Faith Walk—believing that what God has waiting for me on the other side is far greater than what presents itself in the present moment.” He continues, “It’s given me the confidence to move forward, trusting fully in the vision, knowing It’ll All Make Sense Later.”

New Single ‘Shooting Star’ Shines Bright

Alongside the album release, Eric dropped the single “Shooting Star,” featuring Nigerian hitmaker Oxlade, known for his smash hit “Kulosa.” The track beautifully blends Afrobeats with R&B, offering an infectious, laid-back beat that serenades a lover. “We’re both artists that love to experiment and bring our cultures together,” Eric says of the collaboration. “This track is also about reaching for the stars and going after what you want—it’s all about triumph.”

Exploring New Soundscapes

The album’s first singles, “Feelings Never Die” and “Special,” have already set the tone for this exciting new chapter in Eric’s career. “Feelings Never Die” taps into the Afrobeats sound with deep emotional resonance, while “Special,” featuring Jamaican artist Konshens, merges R&B, Dancehall, and Afrobeats in a smooth and catchy blend. Eric describes the album as an evolution of his sound, saying, “I let go of what I thought the standard should be for my songs and I let the music lead the way.” The full tracklisting includes a variety of tracks that showcase the richness of this new era in Eric’s music. Highlights include the poignant “Feelings Never Die,” the afro-influenced “For The Evening” with Burna Boy, and the energetic “Top Dolla” with Vscript.

I trusted my instinct and attached feet to my faith. If I can do it, you can too—whatever your calling or dream may be.” Eric has always pushed boundaries in his career, having written, produced, and collaborated with some of the biggest names in music, including Usher, Justin Bieber, Chris Brown, and Ne-Yo.
