The Hey Neighbour Festival was set to return to Pretoria in 2025, following its inaugural edition in 2023. Known for combining international headliners with local talent, the festival reintroduced itself with a more condensed format over two days.

Dates: Saturday, 30 August – Sunday, 31 August 2025
Location: Legends Adventure Farm, Pretoria, South Africa
Operating Hours: Gates open at 12:00 and close at 22:00 daily

In contrast to the 2023 edition, which spanned three days, the 2025 festival has been condensed into two days. According to the organisers, this change is intended to create a more focused, high-energy experience that still retains the multi-sensory, community-driven elements of the first edition.

Day 1: Saturday 30 August 2025

Central Cee

Central Cee, born Oakley Neil Caesar-Su in 1998, is a British rapper from London and a leading figure in UK rap. His mixtapes Wild West and 23 both topped the UK Albums Chart, while his hit “Doja” became the most-streamed UK rap song on Spotify at the time. In 2024, his collab “Band4Band” with Lil Baby reached No. 18 on the Billboard Hot 100, the highest ever for a UK rap song. His debut album, Can’t Rush Greatness, hit No. 1 in the UK and No. 9 on the Billboard 200, making history as the first top-ten UK rap album in the US.

Doja Cat

The incredible Doja Cat known for her genre-defying sound, chart-topping hits, and captivating stage presence, Doja Cat has taken the music world by storm with smash hits like Say So, Kiss Me More, Paint the Town Red, and Woman. Her dynamic performances and boundary-pushing artistry have solidified her as one of the most exciting and influential artists of her generation.

Leon Thomas

Leon Thomas‘ career spans from acting, singing, songwriting, and production. He first rose to fame as André Harris on Nickelodeon’s Victorious after early Broadway roles in The Lion King and Caroline, or Change. In music, he has earned a Grammy for his work with Babyface and Toni Braxton, while also establishing himself as a solo R&B artist with releases like Genesis, Electric Dusk, and MUTT.
