From the vibrant streets of Freeport, New York, to stages in Africa, Fashion is more than an artist, she’s a powerhouse! With a sound shaped by soulful melodies, fearless lyricism, and an unapologetic New York bounce, she’s carving her own lane in music. Her single, “New York Talk,” is a high-energy anthem that pays homage to the city’s golden era while pushing culture forward.

In this exclusive Q&A, Fashion opens up about her roots, her explosive performances, and how she’s building a legacy beyond music. One that includes empowerment, fashion, and global connection.

[FASHION]: My household shaped my sound, my mother singing all the time, my father rapping & listening to soulful music. I became fascinated with melody and rapping.

[FASHION]: There is never a point in your career where you stop learning. I don’t care how small or big you are, there is always room for correction and growth.

[FASHION]: The back-in-the-day dance era of New York, the good, fun times. When you hear older people talk about their younger days, they have a smile and an upbeat tempo about them. I just want to get back to that smile, that point where you just wanna bust a move or two or three and look stylish while doing it.

[FASHION]: New York Talk represents my journey of arrival. I’m here now with a bounce that is unbelievable, shocking colors, and brave lyricism & flow. Three words to describe New York Talk: Potent, merriment, undeniable.

[FASHION]: As I entered South Africa, the people won me over—so humble and warming. I felt like that was my home. They embraced me with open arms of admiration. I am a human before I can be anything else; therefore, I connect with all people and love to hear all different walks of life so I can put the emotions in the music.

[FASHION]: I’m not just an artist—I’m a brand, and so moving forward requires me to be a balance of harmony for the people, creating all good experiences with me all around.

[FASHION]: My fans can definitely expect more music, acting, and, of course, fashion. I am definitely willing to collab with dope artists who are not scared to push the bar.

Fashion is more than a performer, she’s a cultural architect. Whether through her music, her empowering initiatives, or her fearless fashion statements, she’s proving that artistry has no limits. One thing is clear… Fashion is here to make an impact and she’s just getting started!
