Set to drop on Friday, 3 October 2025, Adekunle Gold’s new album Fuji promises a bold return to his sonic roots reimagined through global ambition and personal evolution. In his promo video, the genre-bending artist reflected on his decade-long journey since his breakout in 2014, describing Fuji as more than just a sound but a part of his identity.
“It’s my art. It’s my painting,” he said, referencing how deeply Fuji music shaped his upbringing. From his home and street corners to his father’s car stereo, the genre was inescapable—and formative. This project, he reveals, isn’t just nostalgic—it’s a creative leap. “My process keeps changing… now I enjoy coming up with melodies first. That’s the most important part of the song,” he shared, recounting a session with Pharrell Williams where that melodic approach took center stage.

Beyond the music, Adekunle Gold also spotlighted his purpose-driven life outside the studio. With his foundation supporting people living with sickle cell disease, he’s not only living his dream but giving it deeper meaning.

With Fuji, Adekunle Gold isn’t just revisiting where he came from, he’s amplifying it on a global scale. And as he says, “Big Fish 2025—we about to take the whole world by storm.”
