Apple Music Taps Artists And Curators To Shape Summertime Listening
Apple Music has unveiled its annual Summertime Sounds campaign, presenting season-focused music curation led this year by CIZA, JAZZWRLD, and Nandi Madida. The campaign positions artists and tastemakers as curators, shaping how listeners experience summer through playlists, DJ mixes, and stations.

Producer and DJ JAZZWRLD, following a breakout year defined by his fusion of 3 Step, Afro House, and Amapiano, contributes an Apple Music–exclusive DJ mix. The mix reflects a progression from daytime to late-night listening, emphasising rhythm, mood, and movement across summer settings.

Singer-songwriter CIZA curates a playlist centred on optimism and reflection, combining contemporary artists with established classics. His selection draws from global and African voices, reflecting themes of prosperity, confidence, and personal moments associated with the season.

Apple Music 1 host Nandi Madida adds a playlist highlighting African music, featuring artists such as Tems, Wizkid, and CKay. Her curation foregrounds musical expression from the continent and celebrates works she views as enduring.
Beyond these contributions, Apple Music’s Summertime Sounds campaign includes additional exclusive DJ mixes, guest-curated playlists, Apple Music 1 host selections, and music videos, offering multiple entry points into summer listening experiences.
