Africa’s leading distribution company, Ziiki Media hosted a three-day recording camp called ZiiBeats, for music producers, vocalists, and songwriters in Johannesburg. Attended by over twenty artists, songwriters, and producers, attending from East Africa, West Africa, and South Africa, the camp saw incredible collaborations across different genres with the likes of Rayvanny, Blaisebeatz, and celebrated musicians Elaine and Nomfundo Moh participating in the camp.
Led by Ziiki Media’s MD Ria Nagar, the camp was aimed at fostering collaborations across regions and telling authentic African stories across all of the genres Africa has to offer from AfroBeats to Amapiano – from Lagos to Nairobi and Johannesburg. “As a truly pan-African company, we aimed to create collaborations across genres and create music to take Africa to the world,” commented Ria. “The ZiiBeats camp completely blew our minds. The synergy among the artists was so unique and so organic. Everyone brought their own flair and artistic genius. We managed to get several future hit songs during this camp and we can’t wait for the world to experience what this camp has produced. We are bringing Africa to the World not in just the traditional sense but through collaboration and genre-bending sounds.” Concluded Ria.
Home to the likes of Rapper, Nadia Nakai, Diamond Platnumz, and many exceptional artists, Ziiki Media prides itself on pushing boundaries in the music industry in its practices while carving a path for new artists seeking a home that will not only take their music to new heights but to the world. Ziiki Media, a music aggregator, distributor, and production house that is rapidly expanding its presence in the Indian market and African markets was founded by businessman Arun Nagar, who currently serves as the CEO of the company.
