Fans of the gripping drama series “Savage Beauty” have reason to celebrate as Netflix has announced the premiere of its highly anticipated second season on June 28, 2024. Produced by Quizzical Pictures, this six-episode series promises to deliver even more intense drama and suspense as the powerful Bhengu family fights to keep their beauty empire intact.

Season two picks up right where the explosive first season left off. Stately patriarch Don Bhengu (Dumisani Mbebe) is rapidly losing his grip on his wife Grace (Nthati Moshesh) and their children, Phila and Linda (played by Jesse Suntele and Nambitha Ben-Mazwi). With tensions running high, the family’s unpredictable actions threaten to tear both their business and familial bonds apart.

Returning to their roles are Eve Rasimeni, Angela Sithole, and Oros Mampofu. New additions to the cast include veterans Tony Kgoroge and Abena Ayivor, along with newcomer Lebogang Fisher, adding fresh dynamics to the already stellar lineup.

The storyline hints at deeper family secrets and power struggles: a wealthy patriarch with a devastating secret manipulates his fractured family towards unity while each member conceals their own power-hungry ambitions. As enemies infiltrate and family bonds crumble, the Bhengus are pushed to their limits.
