Artistry JHB announced the first anniversary of its Music and Soul Sundays, set to take place on August 25, 2024. To mark this milestone, the Johannesburg-based cultural hub is hosting a special Women’s Month edition that promises to be an unforgettable evening of music, soul, and celebration. The evening will feature a live, stripped-down performance by the exceptionally talented Mikhalé Jones, who recently released her debut album Too Many Promises as an independent artist. The performance will be held in the intimate setting of the Artistry Theatre, where Mikhalé Jones will share not only her music but also the stories and inspirations behind her latest work. This unique opportunity to hear directly from the artist is sure to captivate and inspire all who attend.
Following the performance, the celebration will continue at the Listening Bar with an after-party headlined by DJ Teedo Love, one of the most dynamic female DJs in the industry today. Joining her will be Jay Em, Chad Daniels, and Kabeey Sax, ensuring a night filled with electrifying sounds and good vibes.
