Notable among the nominees are Bella Monsoon for her work against GBV, Kamo Mphela for her hit “Dalie,” and The Ndlovu’s Uncut for their captivating storytelling. The second is the Spirit of Africa Award, presented by Amarula Premium African Gin, which seeks content that embodies the essence of Africa. The winner of this award will also receive R20,000 and the honor of being the inaugural recipient.
