The weekend was a cosmic explosion of music, fashion, and unforgettable moments under the theme “In the Stars.” As festival-goers basked in sizzling summer temperatures reaching the high 30s, they were treated to an extraordinary lineup that kept the vibes soaring day and night.

From the very first day, the stages were alive with stellar performances. Headliner Snoh Aalegra captivated the audience with her soulful sound, proving why she’s one of Roc Nation’s brightest stars. She was joined by an array of international talent, making this year’s edition truly global:

• Mick Jenkins, the Chicago-born rapper, mesmerized the crowd with his jazz-infused beats and thought-provoking lyrics.
• Ayra Starr, Nigerian Afropop sensation, had the audience dancing and singing along to her infectious rhythms.
• BLK Odyssy brought a mix of funk, soul, and rock, leaving a lasting impression with his genre-blending set.
• 6lack treated fans to his signature smooth vocals, delivering hits like “Prblms” that had the crowd swaying under the stars.

The festival also celebrated local excellence, with South African talent lighting up the stages. From Sun El Musician’s electronic beats to the powerful performances by Shekhinah, Nasty C, Sjava, Prince Kaybee, Mi Casa, Matthew Mole, Omagoqa, and DJ Lag, the local lineup was nothing short of spectacular. DJ Kent’s beachside closing set was the perfect ending to an exhilarating weekend.

Festival Highlights:

• GalXBoy x Rocking the Daisies Fashion Show: This fashion-forward collaboration brought the latest in festival style to the stage, with standout winner Tadiwanshe Karen Kaparipari securing an internship with GalXBoy and a 2025 merch collaboration with RTD. Limited edition festival merch was available on-site and will soon be available online for those who missed it.
• SuperSportBet Sports Centre Three-a-Side Soccer Tournament: Festival-goers who wanted more than music enjoyed some friendly competition in this fun soccer showdown.
• Secret Sunrise Yoga: Saturday kicked off with a calming yoga session, allowing attendees to recharge and connect in the peaceful morning light.
• The Coke Studio Deck: A new addition that turned heads this year, the Coke Studio Deck brought a high-energy club vibe into the festival, becoming a crowd favourite.
• Festivalgoers were treated to free coffee on Saturday morning to power through the day’s activities, with the energy building as Daisy Town came alive.
• The Flying Fish Beach Club offered laid-back daytime beats, while the SuperSportBet Sports Centre ensured there was never a dull moment.
