11 June 2026
NE-YO will return to South Africa in October for two arena performances as part of his latest international tour. The singer will perform at Grand Arena, GrandWest in Cape Town on 17 October before heading to SunBet Arena in Pretoria on 18 October. The shows mark another major international R&B booking for the South African market, with organisers positioning the concerts around NE-YO’s extensive catalogue of global hits. Fans can expect performances of songs including So Sick, Sexy Love, Closer, Because of You and Miss Independent, alongside newer material such as his recent single Miss Tundra.
More Than A Recording Artist
Since breaking through with So Sick in 2005, NE-YO has built a career that extends beyond performing. As a songwriter, he has contributed to some of the biggest hits recorded by artists including Rihanna, Beyoncé, Jennifer Hudson and Usher. His work has also expanded into television and film, with appearances across multiple productions while continuing to release new music. The artist is currently preparing for the release of his country-inspired album, Highway 7, scheduled for July.
Speaking on the announcement, Vertex Events Executive Director Thato Segaole said the team is focused on delivering large-scale live experiences built around established artists with enduring fan appeal.
