DVSN will take the stage at this year’s Once Upon A Time In Joburg and newly added Once Upon A Time In Cape Town concerts, happening on 7 & 10 December 2025 at Marks Park (Emmarentia) and Alley (Paardeneiland). The Canadian duo is the latest international act to headline the R&B-focused event series that has built a strong following among genre purists.
Note that the Cape Town show moved from 6 December to 10 December 2025 on a Wednesday.

The Event Rollout On Social Media
The event organisers first teased the return of Once Upon A Time In Joburg on 7 October with a cryptic post:
“We hope you have not missed us too much. Once Upon A Time In Joburg returns December 6th… You’ll know exactly who we mean in 24hrs!”
On 9 October, DVSN was confirmed as the headliner through a post referencing their song lyrics:
“Having hallucinations… Look what you made me do… It’s not a dream — DVSN headlines Once Upon a Time in Joburg December 7th | Fourways Farmer’s Market.”
Later the same day, the organisers announced:
“Phase 1 tickets are SOLD OUT. Phase 2 tickets will go live at 19:00”
DVSN also shared their excitement on X (formerly Twitter), saying:
“Okay.. Joburg we see all the messages about tickets being sold out already but don’t worry more tickets will be available at 7 pm SAST! Can’t wait to get there and give you what you been needing.”
