Where It Began

When Scorpion Kings Live was first happened in 2022, after being delayed from their 2020 announcement, it was billed as the “first-of-its-kind” curated live experience from the genre’s most prolific producer duo. That debut took place on 22 July 2022 at the Sun Arena, Times Square in Pretoria, a three-hour show that signalled to South Africa, and the world, that Amapiano had arrived as a live force.
