We meant to write sooner, but we’ve been busy comforting tearful Kelvin Momo fans in our comment sections. You dropped the Red Bull Symphonic with Kelvin Momo announcement—and just like that, the show sold out! Our people are devastated! This isn’t just another gig. It’s another chapter in history, following the magic you created with Kabza De Small. Amapiano meets orchestral power? Again? That’s culture in motion!

Instead of tweeting into the void, we’re attempting something different! A “Fan Letter to Red Bull” straight from the hearts of Momo supporters whose tears we’ve tried to dry. This is a collective cry from those who want to be there—who need to be there! We’ve taken their voices and turned them into a special digital letter for you, updated live to amplify the chorus of the nation wishing to be at the upcoming symphonic.

As a platform that celebrates Music, Art and Events in South Africa, Africa and the diaspora, we as LAMag Africa are putting in a bit more effort with this digital fan letter to try and make sure no fan’s voice goes unheard and miss out on the next historic collision of sound and soul! We invite Red Bull to not just read this letter, but to hear it—to feel the heartbeat of the fans who believe in this moment! They are ready and asking for:

• A second show (especially Sunday or another weekend)
• More tickets or a bigger venue
• A livestream or outdoor screening for those left out
• A tribute for Yallunder
• An official after party
