Simon Venter’s Cape Town exhibition, ‘The Stories We Tell,’ reimagines Christian iconography for contemporary South Africa using generative AI. The AI was central as a “tool that helped the artist to reshape composition and atmosphere,” which Venter transformed through oil painting. The show runs from October 2 to November 18, 2025, at the Sisonke Gallery.
